"The Rhine's Gold"
John Miyasaki as Alberich, the Dwarf, Cadry Nelson as Loge, God of Fire
Photo & Puppet by Leslie Gray
Meet gods, dwarves, Rhinemaidens, and giants in our storytelling version of Richard Wagner's 'Das Rheingold.' Presented by the Los Angeles Public Library, "The Rhine's Gold" is part of the county-wide Ring Festival LA . Our production features WTS founder Carl Weintraub, as Wotan, King of the Gods, and a puppet Alberich, created by master puppeteer/designer Leslie K. Gray.
Ideal for children 4 - 12 years-old and their families, "The Rhine's Gold" includes orchestral excerpts from the opera and plenty of audience participation. Introduce your children to 'the Ring' ... so they'll know what all the fuss is about.
